  • Get one tablespoon of water and three tablespoons of baking soda. Mix the ingredients to get a thick paste.
  • Directly apply the paste to the stain.
  • Wait for thirty to sixty minutes.
  • Use soft cloths or toothbrushes to scrub it gently.
  • Wash using cold water and rinse off the paste.

Method 3: Lemon Juice and Water

  • Grab a glass and mix equal parts lemon juice and cold water.

  • For ten to fifteen minutes, let the stain soak while avoiding exposure to sunlight. Remember that lemon can bleach fabrics.

Be Careful: Test on a Small Area First. The use of lemon juice possesses inherent lightening qualities, and could possibly discolor certain dark-toned fabrics.

 

Method 4: Combining Hydrogen Peroxide, Dish Soap, and Baking Soda.

Easiest for: More aggressive, chronic deodorant residue.

Steps:

  1. Mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide, 1 part dish soap, and 2 parts baking soda.

  2. Apply the mixture to the stain and rub gently.

  3. Let sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to a few hours).

  4. Rinse and wash normally.

Caution: This mixture may lighten dark fabrics slightly, so test on an inconspicuous area first.

Method 5: Commercial Stain Removers

Best For: Those who prefer a ready-made solution.

Look for enzyme stains removers labeled safe for dark color fabrics. Products such as:
