Now you don’t have to be worry as we are here with a mini blog with the best shoe laundry hack that will just vanish yellow stains from your shoes.
Step1: Pour some beer into the warm water in a small tub
Step 2: Add laundry detergent in the same small tub in which you have poured beer
Step 3: Now spray some alcohol on your stained white shoes that have been yellowed after a long usage and keep aside for 2 minutes.
Step 4: Now stir the mixture in the tub and put the shoes in the mixture and let them soak for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Now, use a brush and scrub your shoes where it has stains.
Step 6: For stubborn stains, use back of the brush to scrape repeatedly, stains will start getting off
Step 7: Pour hot water on a towel and wring out 80% of the water
Step 8: Now spray some vinegar to the damp towel and wipe away any yellowing left on shoes after washing. Great! All the yellow stains have been removed now.
Yellow stains on shoes after washing are usually caused by improper drying, detergent residue, or oxidation. When shoes are not rinsed thoroughly, leftover detergent or soap can react with sunlight or air during drying, leaving behind yellowish marks. Additionally, if shoes are dried in direct sunlight or under high heat, especially white or light-colored ones, it can trigger oxidation, which causes the materials to discolor. Sometimes, minerals from hard water used during washing may also contribute to yellow staining. Shoes made from materials like canvas or mesh are particularly prone to this issue. To avoid it, rinse thoroughly, avoid direct sunlight, and stuff shoes with paper towels to absorb moisture and maintain shape while drying naturally.
Now, Let’s us learn “How to clean white fabric shoes”?
Cleaning white fabric shoes requires gentle care to maintain their color and material. Start by removing the laces and brushing off loose dirt with a soft-bristled brush or cloth. Prepare a mild cleaning solution using warm water and a small amount of gentle detergent. Dip a soft brush or cloth into the solution and scrub the shoes in circular motions, focusing on stained or soiled areas. Avoid soaking the shoes completely, as too much moisture can damage the fabric and glue. After cleaning, wipe away the excess soap with a clean, damp cloth. Stuff the shoes with paper towels or newspaper to help retain their shape and allow them to air dry in a cool, shaded area. Avoid using a dryer or placing them in direct sunlight to prevent yellowing. Once dry, reinsert the laces or clean them separately for a completely refreshed look. Regular cleaning helps keep white fabric shoes looking new.
Using beer to clean white fabric shoes might sound unusual, but it’s surprisingly effective when combined with the right ingredients. This hack helps lift stubborn yellow stains caused by dirt, sweat, and long-term use. By soaking the shoes in a beer, detergent, and warm water mixture, the fabric softens, making stain removal easier. The alcohol spray helps break down old stains before soaking, and scrubbing with a brush ensures deeper cleaning. For more persistent spots, using the back of the brush adds pressure without damaging the material. The final step of wiping with a warm vinegar-damp towel not only removes any remaining yellowing but also restores the brightness. With patience and care, this simple hack can leave your white fabric shoes looking fresh and spotless.
